Happy Easter

We have had a great Easter Weekend. Friday night we went to a Reptile Convention in Mesa. We saw hundreds of snakes, lizards, turtles, tortises, frogs, scorpions, salemanders, and even an owl. It was a pretty amazing to see so many critters in one place but it failed to pursuade us to purchase a 1-7 foot boaconstrictor for as much as $2,000, a venomous frog, lizard, or scorpian, or even to purchase a picture of one. But it was fun none the less. We took a trip to Thatcher yesterday for an Allred family picnic. We got snowed on driving through the Superior Mountains - in April! It was the first time our kids have seen snow falling. The kids had a great time this morning with their Easter baskets and currently have enough sugar in their possession to sink a small oceanliner. Happy Easter Mom, Dad, and the Dentist! Here are a few pictures of other things we have been doing lately.

This is a nice action shot of Porter soaking Mayley in a backyard water fight. Porter had the upperhand at this moment but ended up on the losing end. He was ultimately unable to overcome Mayley's speed and her superior combat training (courtesy of Uncle Kevin).

Mayley's softball season is going well. Last game she was 3 for 3 at the plate - her second hit was a solid blast that cleared the infield. She also had several great defensive stops - one of which was an incredible backhanded grab on a grounder heading for the outfield.

One more shot of our trip to Alpine - with Mayley in the paddle boat at Luna Lake.
