Happenings

These are some snapshots of happenings recently. This first one is of Audrey's first official participation in an Easter egg hunt. First of all, please note that mommy was away at the temple with her Relief Society sisters so daddy dressed Audrey for the event (There is a much cuter shirt that actually goes with this). Geoff said that Audrey picked up this one egg and then stood there holding it, engrossed in watching all the other kids race about doing as she must have thought, "Who knows what?" Although Geoff had placed her right by a bunch of candy-filled eggs, she just picked up this one. The other kids eventually took all the other eggs and then one of them took this one right out of her hands. Thanks goodness (even though daddy dressed her like this) he is GREAT at taking back eggs from stealers.

The next picture is of our adorable friend Chloe, who came with Matt and Nicole for dinner at our place recently. I'm sad I didn't get a group picture. We had a great time. Chloe is very fun and although she is much older than Audrey did a wonderful job playing so sweetly with her. (Grandma and Grandpa's: If you'll click on this picture so it's bigger you'll get a good glimpse of Audrey's teeth)

Most evenings when we check on our little babe before we go to sleep ourselves, we find at least one of her hands underneath the bumper on her crib. Geoff captured this picture of her hand all the way through and over the side. Hee-hee.

Just to proove what an exciting life we currently have, I'll finish with this last story. Friday was a Costco run....oh how I like shopping there...but I digress. Among the prizes of the event was a whole new package of individually wrapped t.p. Since we live in a city apartment, it must be stored way up in the corner of a closet which holds an amazing amount of various things. I have to stand on a chair to store it away. After a few times crawling down off the chair to get some and then back up, I thought, "I wonder if Audrey would play her favorite game and hand me the t.p.?" All I had to do was ask! She handed me every single one. It was great fun and just made me excited for the times as she grows when we will work on things together and she will be my helper. :)
Audrey is saying, "Mom, don't get any big ideas!!!"

With regards to Geoff dressing her: Hey, she matches and the clothes are not on backwards! She is adorable! Makes me wish you were right around the corner. Kristine's family, too!
