Happenin'

Here's a shot of Thomas' Easter Vest. It is a little big and his shirt too small but I think he pulled it off marvelously. We didn't do too much in regards to Easter baskets because I, I mean the Easter Bunny, took the year off in the Welker house. I figured T-man can't eat much of it and Me and Kevin SHOULDN'T eat it. Although I did just purchase some Cadburry Mini-Eggs on clearance. So We are both happy. Saturday was a beautiful day weather wise and we had two egg hunts to attend. So here is a shot of his first find. Notice how he also found a stick and thought that was of equal coolness! It was really fun to go watch everyone else. The way it is set up is in the middle of Truman State University there is a really big courtyard with sidewalks going through it in multiple angles and directions which makes it perfect to section them off in age groups. Everyone lines up on the sidewalks, there are hundreds of kids, parents, and strollers. They give the signal to start by blowing a big horn then it's a free for all. The whole thing took about one minute before the sea of eggs were devoured by toddlers. It was fun and yes we were safe. No stealing or plowing down of little T-man will happen with Mamma Bear around. We were warned by Geoff and Emily's post.

What an adorable, handsome kid you have! I'm glad we were of service in helping Thomas avoid Easter egg hunting trauma's. I love that he picked up a stick and found it just as fascinating. Good times!
