KC BBQ

If there is one thing Kansas City is known for other than persecution of the early Saints, it is the barbecue. I'm in KC for a two week preceptorship and I was not going to pass up the opportunity to eat some good BBQ. Especially because my beautiful wife is enjoying the best Mexican food in the world in AZ, I can't let her have all the fun.

I went to a place today that was recommended by a physician at the hospital. It's called LC's and this was my plate, or should I say plate(s). That is a huge slab of ribs and a plate with pork and beef. The restaurant was a little smoky from the wood ovens and I wouldn't dare go there at night but the food was excellent.

My question is...was there any left at the end of the meal?

There was a ton left over, I was so full I didn't eat dinner last night.

i love the fact that something so blatantly bad for you can look so incredibly tasty. the real question in my mind is "how did it compare to joe's?"
