40th Anniversary

My parents recently had their 40th wedding anniversary.  Isn't that awesome?  40 years and counting!!  We decided as kids that we wanted to make it special for them.  So we set up a special dinner and pulled out lots of old photos from our family growing up and put them around the room.  My sister Katherine's husband is a professional cook and made the main course and then the rest of us made yummy sides.  It was a total surprise to my parents...my mom cried when they first took off their blindfolds.  Totally worth the effort of putting the party together.

So, what have they done in 40 years?
-Seven kids
-Fourteen grandkids
-Dad was a successful hospital administrator, winning hospital administrator of the year several times for the state of AZ
-Mom was a homemaker, then taught school and later ran successful Reliv business from home.
-served faithfully in the church in various callings
-taught their kids the gospel of Jesus Christ through example and teachings
-taught kids algebra, piano, ran to basketball, volleyball, etc., etc.
-who can count all the other things????
