Million Miles an hour...in the wrong direction

How many seconds does it take for a 1 and 1/2 year old to make a mess?

How many seconds are there in a minute?

Answers:  1 and 60.  Sometimes I need two of me.
Grace, is that a new hat?  "Yeah"

Ok, maybe not.

Grace, are you stuck?  "Yeah.  Stuck.  Help."

What are you two doing?  "Shopping"

...While Mom was really shopping...

Grace has a fever today, so Dad and Audrey went to the ward campout without us.  So I'm taking this extra time to do a little update on our terrific toddler.  She is so curious and smart and that often translates into messes.  But she makes me laugh and smile throughout the day and she is one of the best gifts I've ever been given.

Grace sings off and on through the day.  Some favorites:  "Where is thumbkin (pronounced Kunkin), and where is pinky", Oh, boy...I've got Joy (Joy School). And then she says, "I got it!" at the end of every song because that is the end to one of Audrey's Let's Play Music songs.

A couple times out of the blue she has said, "Happy day, happy day, happy day".  She always gets excited and says, "Daddy!" when he comes through the door, but the other day she said, "Daddy home!" She is definately girl...loves shoes of every shape and size and "pity" dresses.  She also loves to brush her teeth (water is involved), and loves to be outside riding her  "Vroom vroom".  She refers to cell phones as "Hello" and asks for water by saying, "Icey-momma" (although six months ago she said wa-wa).
