That's right, 7 years. He is one lucky guy. Which is why he planned a great weekend. But as an introductory to the weekend, he had the whole week off. So we spent the whole week together! Eeek! The Tuesday before the big day we went on a kayak trip with some other ward members, including his young men. It was in some really pretty country. We were a little worried about Thomas and I going because it is 4 hours in the river but he couldn't have loved it more! He just sat there and watched everything go by, threw rocks that we gave him out of the shallow river, helped paddle, snacked, and was perfect. It will be a memory that I will never forget. Nature is so peaceful and it was just gorgeous. But Friday came along, we went out to eat with Abby and Brandon at a nice Italian place overlooking a pretty lake. Then it was off to see Jim Gaffigan (see youtube video here
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaK9bjLy3v4) a hilarious, and CLEAN, comedian. It was at an outdoor amphitheater that was actually really nice. As you can see from the picture we had super good seats. That picture was from Kevins cell phone so not the best quality but it captured the moment for us. Then we stayed the night there while Abby and Brandon went back home. So nice of them to let Thomas have his first sleep over. As a side note to the weekend I'll tell you that Thomas did great being put down by a friend and slept in a big boy bed and only fell out once. I was so worried about how he'd do but, again he surprised me. He is growing up so fast! Anyways the next morning we grabbed breakfast and then went to stake out a place to sit along the side of the street to watch the Woodward Dream Cruise that happens every year here. Brandon and Abby were going to bring their kids and Thomas back up to us. We saw tons of really nice cars Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, corvettes, and classics too. We saw some REALLY expensive cars and heard the roar of their pretty engines as everyone was showing off what they had. Dad you would love this. If we stay here you HAVE to come up one year. It will be an experience of a lifetime for you. You would be in Heaven. What a great week. I love being married to Kevin. I am so lucky. We are having alot of fun with Kevins easy schedule right now. Were enjoying every second while we can. This is setting the bar pretty high for next years anniversary. At this level, he'd better start thinking now how he could top this! Thanks babe.

Wow, what a wonderful week! Congrats on seven years. I'm so glad you had such a great time. And so glad kayaking was so memorable. Love you!
Sounds like a great anniversary getaway. Your auntie is way too old for such fun. I am just content to stay at home and plan how I want to redo my house. Uncle Keith just crenges.
