Last Thursday through Tuesday Kevin's Dad came to see us. Thomas loves anything out of the ordinary and was hyper the whole long weekend. Us, along with Brandon and his family went up in the Northern part of MI to the beaches there along Lake Michigan. The great lakes look like oceans because you can't see the other side and there are waves there too but it is fresh water as opposed to salt water. They are gorgeous we enjoyed deep blue skies, white clouds, green huge trees, white sand, and clear water for hours. We stayed the night at a condo right by the beach. It was a huge 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom fully furnished one. We wanted to stay another night it was so nice but it was already booked so on we went further north to Crystal Lake and Sleeping Bear Dunes. (Dad you would especially like this trip, it's is jaw-dropping gorgeous. Maybe next summer you can come see it.) We were all pretty wiped out after a trip like that so Sunday, the day of rest, was just what we needed oh, and good food. :) Monday the men went golfing, while the cousins played together then we went to Steak N' Shake, a favorite in the Mid-west of Papas. Thanks for coming to visit. It was a vacation to remember and repeat another time.
