Welker Update

Kevin had the week off in between quarters and we took advantage of it. We went to Columbia and ate at Red Lobster for K-dubs birthday dinner. Thomas wanted to try out some lobster and even wanted to pick out the unlucky shellfish. We celebrated our 5 year anniversary a week ago. I couldn't have asked for a better husband. Here's hoping the next eternity is just as good as the last 5. I got to go out to eat with some friends baby free one night. We went swimming and some friends were there. We also had a bbq with our new neighbors. He is a new Truman state Philosophy professor. They have a cute little 2 year old daughter that loves Thomas. We just got back from playing frizbee golf in 65 degree weather. It was perfect. We also got to go to the Nauvoo Temple on Thursday. What a neat temple I hope that you guys make plans to come out here in the next 9 months and experience it yourselves. It is special to be in such a historic area with so much past. We've seen a couple movies too. and just relaxed. But the highlight of our break was having Uncle Sponge come and see us. He came here on his way out to Idaho and we couldn't have been more excited to see him. Thomas hammed it up for him especially after he played his guitar for him. It was great to see you Bub. Thanks for making the detor. (As a side note Thanks Mom for the cute shirt I couldn't wait to put him in it. If you remember Katherine bought a onsie like this and a Beanie with a matching blanket so It will be put to great use this winter.)

The Welkers are a great family! Great-looking, too. Kevin and Kristine, you are doing such great things, and are blessed to have each other! We love you. Thanks to Spencer for making the sacrifice to go see you. I know it became a blessing for him, too! Mom
