These pictures are dark and hard to see but last night the fireflies were out in full. There were
thousands of fireflies in this field in front of our house and it was an amazing sight (pictures will not do its justice). If you click on the picture and blow it up, you might see them better. One of the best parts of the Midwest summers other than barbecues is the summer nights.I can't post without a picture of this cute boy. He's getting close to sitting up on his own.
The other picture is me playing with the settings on my camera not Thomas freezing in his crib.

Man that little one is cute! And it looks like the newest color of Oompa Loompas... lol
very few things make me homesick for the midwest, but fireflies is definitely one of them! it is almost supernatural to watch them and catch them. also a funny thought: we were just in vegas on a connection and were inundated by ads for the blue man group. i think your boy has a future!
