Whew. Life has been a whirlwind since the last post on Nov. 24th. Seems like when there is more to post about, there is definately less time to do it. Factor in no internet for several weeks while we moved across the country and then a husband studying 24/7 on the sole computer we did finally get connected to and vwalla...no posts from us in way too long. :)

Biggest and best news of all...in December Geoff graduated from Yale University with a PA degree. He passed the certification exam last Wednesday!

Geoff's parents came to New Haven for the celebrations which were rich and varied. They also spent a great deal of energy and time helping us finish packing and cleaning. We left for our new home the day after graduation (wouldn't recommend this approach). We had such a great time visiting with them and feel so blessed that they would support and help us so well.

One of the gifts they gave to us for graduation was free babysitting and tickets to see, "Wicked" in NYC. It was a night to always remember. We will miss living close to the Big Apple.

Geoff took the brundt of the trip across the country. His brother Troy was generous with his time and came to accompany him in the big Penske. Audrey and I flew home. We set to work cleaning and painting in the house. My brother, sister-in-law, and dad helped with the paiting.

Christmas was a quick, too short feeling celebration amidst the unpacking. The very best part, though, is that all of my brothers and sisters were together. I will try to post a picture soon that is the whole crew. Some highlights for me were: making bracelets for Kat's incoming baby girl, lunch with Andrew and his long-time girlfriend Lindsay, having Spencer read the Christmas play (instead of his usual role as donkey), Grandpa Lunt singing impromptu and bearing his testimony, and just being with everybody for so many days in a row.

Audrey is very excited to be living near cousins and Grandma and Grandpa. Every prayer must include: Porter, Mayley, Elli and Brinlyn, Grandma, Grandpa, Nash and Holly (friends from New Haven), Audrey, Mommy and Daddy. Sorry if you aren't included in this list then talk to Audrey. I am sure with a little persuasion she will add you in. :)

Since this is already a very long post, I will close with one more little diatribe. Since we are still waiting for our ship to come in, and are now in a house and not a little apartment...we have this front room with not a single piece of furniture in it. And we've found there are some definate advantages to this. For example, a group of six adults can have a smashing game of marshmellow tennis. And Audrey and I have discovered that if she stands on one side of the room and I on the other then with a "Ready, set, GO!" I'm sure to provoke giggles as we cross paths on the way to the other wall.
