Beginning Blogging

I'm excited to keep in touch a little better through the Johnson Daily--or at least weekly! Thanks to Kevin and Kristine for setting it up for us. I MISS KEVIN AND KRISTINE AND EMILY AND GEOFF! I've missed seeing the rest of you the last couple of weeks, but I know I CAN see you in a couple of days.

Spencer and Andrew are on their way home. We're hoping they're here by Saturday night. They'll be here just in the nick of time. With K & K and E & G gone, they need someone new to play with when they come to Grandpa and Grandma's!

I did as good as I'd hope when I shared my 1-minute weight loss story at Reliv International Conference. Dad helped me edit it down to 1 minute when I got back to St. Louis, and I had it memorized. My heart was POUNDING, but when I started, then it just sort of came out like I'd practiced. We had an excellent conference and a highlight of the trip was doing a session in the Nauvoo Temple. In that "city" it is easy to remember the many people who sacrificed to build up the kingdom. It's humbling to realize they gave everything they had--jewelry, time, money, effort to build the temple and within a year left it behind to follow the prophet. Made me wonder if we can "leave" everything we've been blessed with and follow the prophet in a spiritual sense.

Gotta go for now.

We love you all so very much.
